The Course aims to give an analytical and lynguistic methodology to understand and interpret the dynamics of the main national and international economic variables, giving particular attention to the economic, commercial, and tourist fields; it aims to strengthen the knowledge and competence of the use of French, both in written ( in grammatical and lexical skills), and in oral ability (comprehension and expression ), approaching texts and oral transcriptions in French on different fields and on various economic, commercial and tourist topics.
the course aims to provide a methodology for analyzing and understanding the texts of the study programme; to detect and comprehend the basic specialized terminology, to be able to use it both in written and in spoken , so to use it correctly in the producion, application and communication processes.
At the end of the course the student must prove :
1) to be able to read, understand, translate, comment, through the analytical tools used during the teacher’s course, texts such as economic -commercial ones, or tourism-related texts in French.
2) to have a good knowledge of French (B2 level + of the QCER ), with particuar regard to some linguistic structures used in spoken and written language , to undersand the chief ideas of complex texts in particular those regarding the economic , commercial and contemporary turist lexicon.

II. Lectors course strengthens the knowledge and competence connected with the written and oral expression in French through the revision and/or acquisition of the sintactic – linguistic structures : the productions and the linguistic skills will correspond to B2 level of the QCER in terms of comprehension ( listening – reading, translating), speaking ( oral production), writing (written productions of dictations and texts ).

In order to attend the corse it is recommended to already have the basics of French, both in the written and at the oral , which correspond to A2 level of the QCER.
Starting from original French texts , the course will follow a double approach:
1) will deal with the aspects of the world monetary crisis of 2008 and its French European repercussions in the Small and Medium Enterprises, Construction and Tourism sectors;
2) analyze documents on economic diplomacy and foreign trade in France.
The exam program, part 1, is included in the book by Sabrina Aulitto-Yasmine Bida : "Lexique de la crise économique et financière. Travaux pratiques et perspectives d'études", Mybook, 2020 (3e).
Part 2 is available on the website https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/politique-etrangere-de-la-france/diplomatie-economique-et-commerce-exterieur/
The teacher will communicate on the platform and during the course progress the programme studied and the parts examined of both aspects.
We recommend purchasing a French grammar (eg Grévisse, Précis de grammaire française) and a French / Italian vocabulary (eg Boch).

The course takes place during the second semester; those students who have attended in previous years and who have yet to take the exam, can prepare the program of the previous years.
The learning examination consists of two parts :
- a written part that is composed of a grammar test prepared by the Cel teacher which is preliminary to the oral exam;
- an oral part to take with the teacher of the course.
Starting from original French texts , the course will follow a double approach: 1) deal with the crisis aspects deriving from covid 19 pandemia in the economic , financial, and turistic field; 2) analyze documents on economic diplomacy and foreign trade in France.
