This course is one of the complementary activities of the master course in Management - Accounting and Finance that allows students to acquire knowledge and understanding the main concepts in mathematics-statistics and informatics. The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge of data management and information systems and skills in the use of database software.

The course introduces the basic concepts of information systems managed through IT tools, in particular addressing the topic of modeling and designing relational databases.

The exam consists of a written test comprising a combination of multiple-choice questions, open-ended questions and a design exercise that requires the student to demonstrate his ability to analyze and solve a problem by means of the methodologies taught during the course.

The exam aims to verify the understanding of the theoretical concepts introduced during the course and the student's ability to apply them to real-world scenarios.
