The course is one of the elective activities of the study program. Its objective is to provide students with the basic knowledge about financial markets and financial instruments. A focus is devoted to financial instruments for SMEs.
Knowledge and understanding:
1) Knowledge and understanding of the operation of financial markets;
2) Knowledge and understanding of the technical and economic characteristics of financial instruments (debt securities and equity).
Applying knowledge and understanding:
1) Ability to use the knowledge to read documents and online information about regulated financial markets;
2) Ability to apply the information about financial instruments in order to assess their yield and risk.
Making Judgments:
1) Ability to select the financial instruments more consistent with financing objectives of SMEs.
Prerequisite: Business Administration.
Students are required to know the fundamentals of Private Law and Corporate Finance.

Exam on Moodle, 12 multiple choices questions (24 points) and one open end question (7 points), 25 minutes time. Questions will ascertain the knowledge of the basic concepts presented in the course and the capability to apply it to simple examples.
Lectures, guest speakers and classroom and e-learning practice through the Kahoot application.
