This course aims to provide the basic knowledge to operate in an international business context, knowing Customs Law. As a matter of facts, Customs Law has immediate applications in all the main export activities of business.
Students will acquire a basic understanding of Customs Law applications into international business transactions, including import/export operations.

Basic knowledge of Introduction to Private Law and Introduction to Public Law.
- Customs Law. Its sources and rules
- Customs debts: customs classification, rules of origin, value of goods and related obligations
- Basic issues of international tax law
- Customs relationship, declarations and customs representation

The course, which has the character of a laboratory, has compulsory attendance with a minimum attendance of at least 70% of the lessons. Students will be required to sign a special register.
There will be a written exam consisting of a thesis (10 pages) on a topic chosen by each student and course related.
The thesis will be submitted to a dedicated email: tecnicadoganale@unive.it. It will be passed through an anti- plagiarism software. If the result is 40% or more the student will automatically FAIL.
