The course is essential to the purpose of deepening the many facets that the complex subject offers to all levels of learners.
It offers the opportunity to acquire the minimum rudiments that will be the subject of personal study for the student who wishes to acquire a proficiency interdisciplinary expertise.
At the end of the course the student will have acquired a more in-depth view of the macroeconomics of the Art and Culture.

The main themes or macro areas, which will be addressed in a "seminar" form from the point of view of modern macroeconomics, understood as a systematic and coherent approach to economic phenomena at the aggregate level, are those of the text adopted. Since this is an advanced level course, the macro areas indicated are obviously not preparatory for understanding each other, and therefore they will be treated by the teacher in a related and interdisciplinary way, as is appropriate for an advanced level course, offering food for discussion, interrelation and discussion, which can also be addressed electronically on Forums and other systems, specially made available thanks to the Moodle platform of the Ca Foscari University. The path proposed by the teacher in the e-learning video lessons on the Moodle platform, will develop in extension some topics of the handbook of David Hesmondhalgh

only for those who should have already purchased this book and only with reference to the "Open Questions" of the initial part of the volume.

At the student's choice it can be done in one of the following ways:

a) with 3 questions from the Hesmondhalgh manual
b) with 3 questions taken from the open questions section of Patron's book (selectable only for those who have already bought this book)
c) with 3 questions taken from the contents of the videolessons of the teacher

As an optional option for the student, in addition (and not in place of) the oral exam, a thesis on the topics proposed by the teacher (Forums) can also be presented, which will average with the score achieved at the oral exam.

At the start of the exam, further information may be given by the Commission to organize the time available.
Those called in list order must be recognized according to the indications received by the university.
During the oral exam it will be forbidden to use notes, written supports, manuals, information aids of any kind or third parties.
During the examination it will be mandatory to keep the microphone of your computer / device turned off, if not directly called, in order to not create confusion or disturbance to the serene tranquility of carrying out the test of all.
During the exam, any form of audio / video recording and any form of memorization of the audio / video stream will be prohibited.
The lessons will be held in frontal form, with the supply of texts and materials which will be discussed and analyzed, slides to be projected, and class exercises on the examination

The teacher is available to acquire new graduates who want to discuss their Thesis.
The topics proposed for the thesis will be agreed jointly with the teacher, enhancing the quality of innovation in relation to
the opportunities that the job market or the research offers for the job placement of the new graduate.
Willingness to assist also students from other Departments or other Faculties and foreign students.
