This course falls within the characterizing teachings of the "Korea" curriculum of the course "Languages, Cultures and Societies of Asia and Mediterranean Africa".
Its formative objectives fall within the area of language skills learning.
1) Language knowledge and language comprehension:
Complete the knowledge of grammatical structures of Korean at elementary and intermediate level.
Knowledge and understanding of the usage of grammatical structures of Korean at elementary and intermediate level (CEFR Level B1/B1+)

2) Ability to apply language knowledge and comprehension:
Ability to identify grammar categories and their properties.
Demonstrate a general comprehension of Korean grammatical structures for elementary and intermediate levels.
Ability to describe constructs and grammatical phoenomena of Korean, acquired during the course.
Ability to make a correct use of terminology and basic tools of synctactic analysis acquired.
Having completed Korean Language 1.1 and 1.2.
The first module foresees that study of the following structures:

1 lesson - '-고' form (how to make it, the meaning, negative)
2 lesson - two kinds of '-아서/어서/여서', I could die, about and concerning
3 lesson – cause form ‘-거든요’, turning descriptive verbs into processive verbs, compound verb
4 lesson - compound verb 2(resultant states), present progressive form, to ask a favor
5 lesson - passive form
6 lesson - nominalizer form ‘-기'
7 lesson - even though, asking and giving permission
8 lesson - expression 'get/become', though the agency of NOUN, decision
9 lesson - modifier '-(으)ㄴ/는/(으)ㄹ', on the way to do
10 lesson - retrospective modifier, comparison
11 lesson - causative form
12 lesson – nominalization, exclamation
13 lesson - conditional form, supposition form, polite request
14 lesson - intention form, obligation form, transferentive form
15 lesson - review

Further materials will be distributed in class.
The exam consists of written and oral tests on grammatical forms, colloquial Korean, short compositions. The written test lasts at least one hour.

In order to pass the exam, students must obtain scores of 18 and above in all test. The final result will be the average of the scores obtained in Korean Language 2.1 and 2.2.
