This course constitutes one of the key courses in the LICAAM master's degree program, and aims to bring the students the necessary knowledge and competences in facing the difficulties derived form the use of Eurasian languages in a digital context. The course focuses in the use of on-line and off-line software in linguistic learning and research, and offers an overview of the main applications of the research field of computational linguistics for Eurasian languages.
- Ability to successfully produce documents with word-processors and operate on them in various digital environments in presence of Eastern and Western alphabets.

- Knowledge of the theoretical and practical problems related to digital management of latin and non-latin script systems, specially focusing in euroasiatic languages.

- Research and use of digital tools language / educational / operational and Applications for mobile and fixed supports for Eurasian languages.
Basic knowledge of operating systems, Internet browsing, media for word-processing.
- The production, storage and reproduction of digital documents in the various operating systems and word processors , with stress in the work with Eurasian langauges and multilingual texts.
- Production of mutimedia presentations using latin and non-latin alphabets.
- Digital management of non-latin alphabet languages.
- Digital and linguistic computer tools for Eurasian languages.
- Applications and programs for the Eurasian languages
- Tools and resources for self-learning and research.
- Search and management bibliographic tools.
- Automatic tranlsation and lexicography computer tools.

- Tasks assigned to be processed by each students shall be assessed, these tasks will be pointed out as the course progresses, in order to reach an overall judgment on the day of the last task.
