Contribution of the course to the overall degree programme goals
This didactic module, jointly with the one held by Prof. Francesco Vallerani, is thereby part of the same course (12 cfu) with common learning outcomes.
Special interest will be devoted to the concept of both environmental and cultural heritage.
The didactic module aims at providing cultural instruments useful to analyze the touristic phenomena, both at global and local scale, and to interpret its evolution, case by case, in the light of socio-cultural and environmental sustainability.
Moreover, the contents of the lessons and of the texts contribute to build skills to operate, with a complex and sustainability-oriented vision, within territorial tourist systems in different regional areas and to cope with the globalization of tourism and its impacts.
