The teaching is one of the basic activities of this course which allow the students to focus deeply on the basic knowledge of language teaching. The aim of the teaching is to develop knowledge about evaluation of languages, to focus on the structure of testing in order to make students able to create evaluation paths using different techniques and technologies.
The students will acquire knowledge and awareness about the concept of evaluation analysing different types of testing and creating evaluation paths according to specific needs.

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION
The students know the concept of evaluation; know the Common European Framework; know and understand different ways to evaluate according to levels; know different theories and teaching methods in order to test.

APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION
The students are able to choose and create a testing according to different objectives; to use different ways and grids according to different objectives and the method chosen; to select
levels, to choose the teaching method according to context and the
people involved. Moreover, the students apply different ways and grids to create a testing according to context and people involved; create and implement a testing in virtual environments.

AUTONOMY
Knowing how to create a testing giving reasons.

COMMUNICATIVE ABILITIES
Mastery of the LSP of Language Teaching research.

LEARNING ABILITIES
Note taking, participating in research and work groups, organising autonomous research, carrying out field research.
Basic knowledge of teaching methods.
Module 1: Technologies
Different topics are introduced: concept of assessment, evaluation and certification; different types of evaluation; CEF; teaching techniques used in evaluation; objective and subjective tests;
grids and scales; how to create a test.

Oral exam: discussion on main concepts introduced during the course and presentation of a project work concerning the creation of a test. For those who are not going to attend the course a different bibliography will be decided with the students.

The online part can give support for the project work and can recognize up to two points for the exam.
