Alessandra Jacomuzzi Date of birth: 03/12/1977

Currently, she is a tenured researcher at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Over the years, she has specialized in the field of multimedia perception and the application of the psychology of thinking to economic and social sciences. She teaches General Psychology, Fundamentals of Cognitive Sciences, and Cognitive and Behavioral Neurosciences. From 2012 to 2017, she was the Director's Delegate for Sustainability at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage. From 2015 to 2016, she was the Rector's Delegate for initiatives supporting the assistance, integration, and well-being of people with disabilities. From 2017 to 2020, she was the Director's Delegate for initiatives supporting the assistance, integration, and well-being of people with disabilities. Since 2019, she has been the Delegate for the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage and the Department of Humanities at the Center for Sustainability - C4S of the Ca' Foscari Foundation. Since 2020, she has been part of the board of directors of the Human Rights Study Center - CESTIDUR at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and a member of the editorial board of The Journal for the Philosophy of Language, Mind and the Arts - JOLMA by Ca' Foscari Editions and Frontiers on Computer Science. Currently, she is a member of the Italian Association of Psychology (experimental section) and the Agrifood Lab at Ca' Foscari. She is also part of the scientific committee of the Master's in Neuromarketing, Consumer Science, and Market Research at IULM University of Milan.
