I am regularly acting as an expert/external/internal member/committee member for PhD defenses, selections for positions as researcher (both RTDa and RTDb). I have been requested my services from the following Institutions: University of Malaga (ES), University-CSIS of Seville (ES), Luleå University of Technology (SE), Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (IT), University of Milano-Bicocca (IT), University of Padova (IT), University of Catania (IT).

ORGANIZATION OF INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND SYMPOSIA
I am active in organizing workshops and symposia in the field of materials and technologies for energy & environment, among which: European Materials Research Society (E-MRS), Materials Research Society (MRS) Fall Meetings, American Nuclear Society (ANS), American Ceramic Society. I also regularly organize Summer and Winter Workshops for the International PhD Programme in Chemistry and seminars with international invited speakers at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

SPINOFF – INNOVATIVE START-UP

2021-Present Founder and scientific supervisor of the Spinoff ChEERS srl - Circular Economy for Energy Recycling Solutions, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy), working on a sustainable upcycling and valorization of industrial and agri-food wastes. www.cheers2.life.

ChEERS has been strongly financed by private companies and has received several awards at national level for the innovative approach and preliminary results, among which the Italian “Innovation Business Award ANGI 2021” – IV Edition in the category “Energy & Environment”.

RESEARCH ACTIVITY

Her research activity deals with inorganic materials chemistry and is focused primarily on the design of 0-2D nanocomposite materials, with controlled size, morphology, porosity, crystalline phases and optical properties, for environmental and energy-related applications (on board hydrogen photo- and thermal production/purification, hydrogen production by water splitting, water purification by photodegradation of dyes and drugs).
