Final degree exam calendar

Degree programme regulations

The final exam consists of writing and discussing an original thesis on a topic agreed upon with the supervisor. The thesis and the discussion can be in Italian, French, or English.

Students can choose their thesis topic, in agreement with the course supervisor. The topic must involve a critical/interpretive analysis of an interdisciplinary subject, which may be related to an internship.

If the supervisor is a faculty member of the TRANS-MED master's degree programme, the advisor can be from another degree programme or an expert in the thesis subject, provided this is agreed with the teaching board. If the supervisor teaches in a degree programme other than TRANS-MED, the advisor must be chosen from the TRANS-MED faculty.

The thesis defence will take place at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, according to the academic calendar.

Deadlines: The thesis must be submitted by the date specified in the University's academic calendar.

The final exam awards up to 21 CFU/ECTS.
