“Stevanato Group” scholarships

The Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems (DSMN) and Nuova Ompi S.r.l. have created the joint research laboratory “Materials Science Hub (MaSH - Giovanni Stevanato)”, which is aimed at fostering the study and characterisation of the properties of materials - primarily glass - and their subsequent modification following industrial treatments, interaction with drugs and environmental factors. Within the framework of this joint project, Nuova Ompi S.r.l. issues:

  • 3 three-year scholarships of € 1,000 annually to students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies and Engineering Physics. To promote gender equality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines, one scholarship is reserved for a deserving female student 
  • 3 two-year scholarships of € 1,000 annually to students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programmes in Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies. To promote gender equality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines, one scholarship is reserved for a deserving female student 
  • 3 two-year scholarships of € 1,000 annually to students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme in Science and Technology of Bio and Nanomaterials. To promote gender equality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines, one scholarship is reserved for a deserving female student 

This initiative aims to encourage students to enrol in STEM academic programmes and foster a greater presence of women in these fields.

Call for applications a.y. 2023/2024

Who can apply: students enrolled in the 1st year of the following Programmes in the academic year 2023/2024:

  • Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies [CT7]
  • Engineering Physics [CT8];
  • Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies [CM7]
  • Science and Technology of Bio and Nanomaterials [CM14]

Who have earned at least 12 ECTS/CFU by the January-February exam session 2024.
