The programme at a glance

learn about the history of art in Venice, a city which for over a thousand years has been a laboratory for all forms of art, and which continues to host international exhibitions and events

gain up-to-date knowledge of approaches and tools for the analysis and research of visual art and performance art, from cinema to music

develop an understanding of historical and artistic research: collect documents, read and interpret signs and symbols, write academic texts, formulate research projects and plan exhibitions

Your future career options

become a museum curator and conservator, a cultural worker in the museum/exhibition field; conduct research, acquire, evaluate and guarantee the preservation of artefacts of historical, cultural or artistic interest, and of works of art; organise educational activities to promote artwork, such as exhibitions and eventsts

work as an organizer of events and cultural happenings; deal with the design, planning and organisation of exhibitions and cultural events

work as a teacher of historical-artistic subjects (after having fulfilled all the requirements of the current legislation)
