The programme at a glance

you will investigate the behaviour and rules governing the transformation of matter, learn innovative techniques for the synthesis and characterisation of new substances and materials, and apply your knowledge to scientific, environmental, and social challenges, with a particular emphasis on green and sustainable transition

you can choose from three curricula: Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, and Biomolecular Chemistry. You will learn to interconnect chemical knowledge with its technological, industrial, and biomolecular applications

develop the ability to suggest solutions in different fields, such as chemistry, molecular biology, nanomaterials, energy sources, and environmentally sustainable chemical production

After graduation

you will have career opportunities in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries across various sectors, including food, textiles, paper, tanning, electroplating, biotechnology, environmental remediation, energy resource management, and advanced materials—essentially, in any field requiring scientific and technical expertise

you will have the opportunity to continue your studies with a PhD

you can work in industrial consultancy, including workplace safety and hygiene, either as an employee or a freelance professional. Additionally, you will be able to conduct research and analysis in laboratories focusing on food, the environment, cultural heritage, healthcare, and industrial production
