Information on PregDat newsletter

Privacy notice in accordance with article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679

Ca’ Foscari University of Venice ( protocollo@pec.unive.it, Dorsoduro n. 3246, 30123 Venice), in its capacity as data controller, provides you with information on the processing of your personal data collected in this form to send you the newsletter related to the ERC Research Project PregDat, GA no. 101076713 ("PregDat Newsletter").
To be able to receive the PregDat Newsletter, we ask you to provide your first name, last name, preferred pronouns, city/country, job position, company/institution as well as you email address. Your name, surname and email address are necessary for the University to be able to send you the PregDat Newsletters, if you do not provide them, the University will not send you the Newsletter. Your personal data will be stored for the period in which the University runs the PregDat Newsletter or until you unsubscribe to it.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is represented by art. 6.1.e) of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“performance of a task carried out in the public interest”). You can unsubscribe to the PregDat Newsletter by clicking the unsubscribe link included in each email or by writing to the DPO at the below mentioned contact details.

For the purposes set out above, in addition to specifically authorised employees and collaborators of the University, personal data may also be processed by those who execute outsourced activities on behalf of the data controller in their capacity as data processors (the updated list is available at https://www.unive.it/pag/36643). In particular, the University uses the Salesforce.org services of contact management and email sending through which personal data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA territory. The University has appointed Salesforce.org as its data processor and has signed with it the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.

As a data subject, you have the right to obtain from the University, in the cases provided for by the Regulation, access to personal data, the correction, integration and cancellation of the data, the limitation of the data processing or you can object to the data processing itself. The request can be submitted by contacting the Data Protection Officer directly at  dpo@unive.it. If you believe that the processing of your personal data is carried out in violation of the Regulation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority or to pursue legal action.
