During the year, the Career Service organizes various meetings with companies that will allow you to discover the behind-the-scenes of corporate realities, job placement opportunities, and career paths, submit your CV, engage with recruiters, and attend informational or professional placement interviews.

Company presentations
You can attend the Company Presentations in which recruiters and managers talk about their organisation (brand history, values, internal structure, possible Graduate Program, etc.).
A Company Presentation can take place online, at Ca' Foscari venues or at the companies headquarters.
Not all events are held in English.

The Career Day is the university’s annual event offering you a unique opportunity to connect with dozens of Italian and international companies, and to discover their internship and job opportunities.
The next edition will take place over two days: Career Day Virtuale (Virtual Career Day), which will be held online via the dedicated M.I.T.O. web platform, and Career Day In presenza (In-Person Career Day), which will be held at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice.
The Direzione Career Day (Career Day Orientation) sessions will provide valuable insights to help you better understand the world of work.

Career Day Virtuale e In presenza
The 2024 Career Day will take place online on November 12 with 18 companies, and in person on November 14 at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice with 42 more companies.
For both the Career Day Virtuale and the Career Day In presenza, uploading and submitting your CV to companies, as well as interview invitations, are managed through the M.I.T.O. web platform, operated by the AlmaLaurea Consortium. Therefore, to participate, you must have an AlmaLaurea profile and CV.
You decide which companies to submit your AlmaLaurea CV to, but it is the companies themselves that choose which candidates to interview during the Career Day. The more your CV matches the profiles they are looking for, the more likely you are to be selected for an interview.

How to participate
Who it’s for
- Third-year students of Ca’ Foscari’s bachelor’s degree programs.
- Master’s degree students of Ca’ Foscari.
- Recent graduates of Ca’ Foscari’s bachelor’s and master’s degree programs who obtained their degrees at the end of 2023 and in 2024.
Registration and CV submission
- Preparing your AlmaLaurea CV: the first step is to create or update your AlmaLaurea CV on the M.I.T.O. platform to submit applications to companies:
- Registration: from October 22 to November 11, registration for the event is open:
- Submitting your CV to companies: from October 22 to November 11, access the platform, browse the virtual stands of participating companies, and send your AlmaLaurea CV to those that interest you most.
Consult the tutorial that will guide you step by step through the registration and CV submission process; you will find the file in the Career Service section on Moodle [ITA]. - Receiving interview invitations from companies: in the days leading up to the event, you may receive invitations from one or more companies to whom you submitted your CV for meetings on the day of the event.
Career Day Virtuale
On November 12, access the event's web platform and participate in video interviews according to your appointment schedule.
Career Day In presenza
On November 14, go to the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice, show the Career Service staff the QR code provided during registration, and visit the company stands according to your appointment schedule.
New for 2024: did not receive any invitations from companies? From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on November 14, you can line up at the stands of companies that interest you and wait your turn to meet with HR representatives without an appointment.
However, registration for the event is still required.
On the morning of November 14, the Career Service team will be available at our Career Desk to review your CV and provide advice on your career orientation.

What does a career look like today? How does the selection process work? How can you be aware of your uniqueness and skills?
You will find answers to this and many other questions at the meeting “YUMI Talent Booster: Enhance Your Skills and Communicate Effectively to Find Your Ideal Job,” which will take place from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM during the In-Person Career Day on Thursday, November 14, at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice.
The event will be held in Italian.
