Antitumor Activity of late transition metals oragnometallic compounds

The group develops the synthesis and characterization of new organometallic derivatives of late transition metal for pharmaceutical use. In particular we draw our attention to compounds with anti-proliferative activity against different types of cancer cells possibly with mechanism of action alternative to chemotherapeutics of current use.

Synthesis and Mechanistic Study of Transition Metals Organometallic compounds reactions

Synthetic protocols are planned for the synthesis of novel organometallic complexes of transition metals. The reactivity of such compounds, of great current interest for the organic synthesis promoted or catalysed by transition metals, have studied from the kinetic, thermodynamic and mechanistic points of view by different instrumental techniques.
