Accessible route   (15/20 minutes)

Take one of the following water buses:

• Line 1 from the Ferrovia stop (S. Lucia E landing stage);
• Line 1 from the Piazzale Roma stop (Parisi B landing stage);
• Line 2 from the Tronchetto stop to the Ferrovia, San Tomà or Rialto stops, then change to Line 1;

get off at the San Silvestro stop.
Go through the Sotoportego de la Pasina, turn left then go through the sotoportego on your right.
Go all the way down Calle dei Sbianchesini until you reach Campo S. Aponal.
Take the second calle on your left, Calle de Mezo, then keep going until you reach Campiello dei Meloni. Take the Calle de la Madoneta then cross the bridge (non-accessible) at the end.
Keep going until you reach Campo S. Polo.
Cross the square, keeping to the left, then turn into Calle del Magazen o del Bastion on your left.
Turn left on Calle del Magazen and straight onto the bridge that is not equipped for disabled users; on the right you will find the entrance of Ca’ Cappello.

Building accessibility

The building, which is on several floors, is partially accessible.
There is a step at the entrance.
There is a elevator to the first and second floors (ask for the key in the porter’s lodge).
After leaving the elevator on the second floor there is a step.
On the first floor, there is an accessible corridor leading to the library (which can otherwise only be reached via Stair A).
The multimedia labs A and B on the mezzanine floor (between the first and second floors) can only be reached via stairs (where there are professors’ offices, a video room and a reading room).
Some of the lecturer’s rooms are on the third floor, which is not accessible because it can only be reached via a steep flight of stairs.
