Take one of the following water buses:

  • Line 2 from the Ferrovia stop (Scalzi B landing stage);
  • Line 2 (S. Chiara E landing stage) or Line 6 (Parisi C landing stage) from the Piazzale Roma stop;
  • Line 2 from the Tronchetto stop (Tronchetto DX landing stage);

then get off at the San Basilio stop.
Head down the Calle del Vento (opposite the stop), cross Campo San Basilio (street sign gives name as “Campo San Basegio”) and continue along the street alongside the canal (the first stretch of which is called Fondamenta San Baseggio before turning into Fondamenta San Sebastiano).
At the end turn right into the Fondamenta del Soccorso then cross the first bridge on the left (non-accessible).
Turn left immediately after crossing the bridge then right under the Sotoportego dei Guardiani leading to the calle of the same name.
Go down the calle until you reach the second bridge (non accessible) and turn left into Fondamenta dei Cereri.
Continue until the next bridge on the left, which will take you straight to the entrance of the University Sports Centre (CUS).

Building accessibility

The CUS consists of outdoor courts, an administrative block and the main sports centre housing the gyms where the various sporting activities take place.
The outdoor courts are all accessible.
There is a low step at the entrance to the administrative block.
The entrance to the indoor sports building is accessible.
The fitness gym and stands in the main gym can be reached via a stairlift. The sauna can only be reached via stairs.

Toilets

There are four accessible toilets on the ground floor of the sports centre, three of which in the changing rooms (one in the female instructors’ changing room, one in the male instructors’ changing room and one in the men/children’s changing room).
