Financial aid for high-achieving international students
There are various forms of financial aid available to high-achieving students who have obtained their education outside the Italian education system and are interested in enrolling in a bachelor’s or master’s degree at Ca’ Foscari.
This merit-based financial support is made available both by Ca’ Foscari itself and by other Italian governmental organizations.
In evaluating other forms of possible funding for high-achieving students, keep in mind that the governments of many countries offer scholarships for carrying out one's university studies abroad, so it is worth exploring if this is a possibility in your case.

Ca' Foscari's International College
The International College is an honours school that allows its students to pair a Ca’ Foscari bachelor’s or master’s degrees with an additional, parallel course of study involving interdisciplinary courses and activities.
Each year, the College offers admission to 12 new bachelor’s degree and 8 new master’s degree students, each of whom receives financial assistance in the form of a voucher, or payment exemption, that significantly reduces the total cost of the following:
- the annual tuition fees of your chosen bachelor’s or master’s degree programme;
- the supplementary College educational programme;
- lectures and tutoring at the College;
- accommodation for 10 months at the Santa Marta Residential Complex in Venice.
Thanks to the College vouchers, admitted students pay very little: bachelor’s students must pay an annual flat fee of €1,000 while master’s students must pay €1,500.
Depending on whether they are bachelor’s or master’s degree candidates, applicants are assigned points based on different elements of evaluation in order to be situated in the relevant set of rankings.
