The University is ranked 178th in the world and 4th in Italy for 'Environmental Research.' This ranking evaluates the influence of academic research on topics related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The analysis takes into account the university's scientific output in these areas, along with data on national spending in Research and Development. It emphasises the significant role that academic research can play in promoting sustainable progress.

Ca' Foscari University has achieved impressive results also in the area of 'Health & Well-being,' ranking among the global top 200 and placing 5th in Italy.
