Antonio Marcato new Head of Administration at Ca' Foscari

From the Polytechnic University of Milan to Ca’ Foscari University of Venice: Antonio Marcato is the new Head of Administration for the Venetian university.

Proposed by Rector Michele Bugliesi, with a unanimous favorable opinion from the Academic Senate, and appointed by the Board of Governors, Dr. Marcato will begin his new role at the University as of January 9th 2017; his position will last four years, with a possibility of being renewed.

The notice for the position of Head of Administration at Ca’ Foscari closed on the 24th October of 2016, with 19 competing candidates.

Antonio Marcato graduated from the University of Padua in 2010 with a degree in Political Science, after which he took on the role of Deputy Head Of Administration at the Polytechnic University of Milan and then Manager for the Organization and Human Resources Area, also at the Polytechnic. He was a member of the Evaluation Unit for other Universities, and has also written a number of publications on the issues of human resources and organizational policies.
