The Incroci di Civiltà festival continues until 6 November

The 14th edition of the international literary festival was inaugurated on 3 November with Nicole Krauss at Scuola Grande di San Rocco, where the writer received the Francesca Bortolotto Possati-Ca' Foscari Prize. The festival will conclude on 6 November with Vinicio Capossela.

At the dawn of the millennium, the atmospheric chemist Paul Crutzen conceptualised 'the Anthropocene' as a designation for today's geological epoch, in which humans have become the dominant force on Earth. 

CF Short Film Festival: Alka Sadat on women, cinema and Afghanistan

Art & Sustainability: Ca’ Foscari inaugurates “Waste Matters”

What is our relationship with food and waste? How can we reduce our impact on the environment? These are some of the questions posed by the project “Waste Matters” by London-based artist Gayle Chong Kwan. The installation was inaugurated on 2 July and will be visible until 2 September.
