1. consegna della relazione scritta entro e non oltre le ore 12.00 del 20 dicembre 2024 per presentarsi all'appello di esame dell'8 gennaio 2025
2. consegna della relazione scritta entro e non oltre le ore 12.00 del 10 gennaio per presentarsi all'appello di esame del 24 gennaio 2025.
La relazione scritta deve essere consegnata in copia cartacea nella casella di posta della docente. Trovate le istruzioni per la stesura della relazione in una cartella in Moodle. Vi ricordo che l'argomento della relazione deve essere concordato con la docente.

ESSAY QUESTION
Please answer the following question in 2000 wds
Cultural anthropology has studied tourism from the mid 1970s. What characterizes a cultural anthropological approach to tourism? What are the major aspects of the tourist encounter studied by this discipline? What methods does Cultural Anthropology use to study the tourist encounter? Answer these questions in relations to the issues discussed by the authors indicated in the exam program.
THE WRITTEN ESSAY (2000wds) should not be a mere summary of the articles, but must contain a comment on the issues discussed by the authors of the compulsory readings, see list below. It is also an opportunity to comment on the methods of data collecting (participant observation, note taking in relation to the two chapters by Spradley) that characterize the anthropological research method. The written essay must be printed (Times New Roman font 12) with a 1,5 line-spacing and 2cm margins. Direct or indirect quotes in the text must be followed by the bibliographic reference, namely, the indication of the author’s name, publication date and page numbers in the text (author date: page) and completed with the full bibliographic references to all cited publications at the end of text (in alphabetical order).
