Ho conseguito la laurea in Ingegneria Informatica (v.o.) nel 2004 presso l'Università della Calabria (UNICAL) e il dottorato di ricerca nel 2008, presso lo stesso Ateneo. A metà del 2008 sono stato per diversi mesi presso l'“Universidad Politecnica” di Valencia (UPV), per svolgere alcune ricerche post-doc sulle reti veicolari e, in particolare, sulla struttura multicanale del MAC nei VANET. Nel periodo settembre-ottobre 2008 ho partecipato al progetto europeo ORACOLO con un'idea chiamata “Winets: Wireless Information Networks for Enhanced Telecommunication services”. Alla fine del 2008 e nei primi mesi del 2009 sono stato coinvolto in due progetti PON R&D italiani (PROMIS e AUTOMA), relativi all'applicazione della tecnologia RF-ID in ambienti ostili, posizionamento RF-ID e location management , con particolare attenzione all'analisi e conservazione della riservatezza nel segmento RF-ID locale. Dal 2010 al 2013 sono stato ricercatore post-dottorato presso il DIMES (UNICAL), svolgendo alcune ricerche e insegnamenti sui sistemi di telecomunicazioni. Nello stesso periodo ho anche ottenuto la certificazione CCNA Exploration con qualifica di istruttore CISCO (CISCO-CCNAe). Nel 2012 sono stato premiato da StartCup Calabria 2012 come membro del team di sviluppo dell'Intelligent Remote Controller (IRC); per la stessa idea, nel novembre 2012 ho partecipato al Premio Nazionale Innovazione (PNI) e nel giugno 2013 ho partecipato alla fase finale dell'Intel Business Challenge Europe (IBCE2013). Da settembre 2013 sono stato Ricercatore presso il DIMES DEPT. Nell'ottobre 2014 ho partecipato a StartCup Calabria 2014 come membro del team di sviluppo e co-fondatore di SPITCH; per la stessa idea, il team ha ricevuto il premio Lamarck nel novembre 2014, durante lo SMAU CALABRIA 2014. Nel marzo 2015 ho co-gestito lo stand SPITCH allo SMAU BERLINO 2015. Sono stato coinvolto nel progetto di ricerca I-CONTACT, relativo alla distribuzione della banda larga in diverse località della regione, e nel progetto di ricerca e sviluppo SMARTEL, relativo alla sicurezza fisica nei luoghi logistici. Ho ottenuto molte pubblicazioni su comunicazioni wireless, reti ad-hoc e veicolari e molte collaborazioni con il Gruppo di telecomunicazioni dell'Università Politecnica di Valencia (GRC) e il Dipartimento di Telecomunicazioni dell'Università Tecnica di Ostrava (VSB). I miei interessi di ricerca comprendono anche le reti di comunicazione mobile, le architetture QoS e l'internetworking. Dal 1 settembre 2016 al 31 dicembre 2020 sono stato docente di Tecnologia presso l'I.C. Brugnera (PN). Dal 1 gennaio 2021 sono Ricercatore presso il DSMN dell'Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia.
