Nata a Firenze il 19 Giugno 1987. Laurea Triennale in Lettere Moderne presso l'Università degli Studi di Firenze nel 2014, titolo della tesi: "Dall’occhio allo sguardo. Il ruolo del linguaggio nella costruzione dell’oggetto estetico" (109/110). Laurea Magistrale in Scienze del Linguaggio presso l'Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia nel 2017 (110 cum laude). Titolo della tesi: "Parentheticals introducing Free Indirect Discourse in Italian Sign Language (LIS)". Ha conseguito il Dottorato di Ricerca in Linguistica presso L'Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia nel 2022. Titolo della tesi: "Multimodality in Grammar. The case of special questions expressing surprise and surprise disapproval in oral and sign language". Supervisor prof. Alessandra Giorgi; Commissione di valutazione "prof. Nicola Munaro (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice), prof. Cecilia Poletto (University of Padua, Goethe-Universität of Frankfurt am Main), prof. Francesco Costantini (University of Udine)". Dal 2017 al 2022 ha trascorso periodi di studio e ricerca presso l'Università di Verona (seminari all'interno del Ph.D. programme in Foreign Literatures, Languages and Linguistics), il dipartimento di Filologia dell'Università di Creta, Gallos Campus, Rethymnon, Greece e il LCL (Language and Communication Lab) dell'Università di Padova (Theoretical Issues in Nonverbal Behavior; Research Methods in Linguistics).

Assegnista postdoc presso il Dipartimento di Studi Linguistici e Culturali Comparati dell'Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia, nell'ambito del progetto PRIN "RUM. Rethinking Understanding Modal Particles" CUP N. H53D23004410006 (PI Prof. Federica Cognola), impegnata principalmente nella realizzazione del Task: "Studio sperimentale delle particelle modali, in relazione con la prosodia e la gestualità".
Interessi di ricerca
Multimodalità nel linguaggio, la sintassi e la pragmatica del linguaggio espressivo, la sintassi della Lingua dei Segni Italiana (LIS), i gesti e l'interfaccia prosodia-sintassi.
