ESPERIENZA LAVORATIVA
È interprete di lingua dei segni italiana (LIS) da luglio 2014. Si è specializzata nell’ambito della sordocecità e della lingua dei segni italiana tattile (LISt). Tiene formazioni per interpreti professionisti relativamente all’interpretazione a favore di persone sordocieche.
È docente a contratto del corso LIS tattile (L-LIN/01) presso l’Università Ca’ Foscari (già docente a contratto 2017-2020) e docente del corso di Sordocecità e LIS tattile (M-FIL/05) presso l’Università Milano-Bicocca (2024-2025).
RICERCA
I suoi interessi di ricerca abbracciano la didattica delle lingue (vocali e segniche) per persone sorde e udenti; le diverse forme comunicative utilizzate nell’ambito della sordocecità e di come queste interagiscono tra loro. Infine, si occupa di studiare le competenze linguistiche e operative necessarie per la formazione di interpreti-guida professionisti per persone sordocieche.
Si interessa in particolare di comunicazione socio-aptica (CSA) per persone sordocieche. Nella sua tesi di dottorato dal titolo “Social-haptic communication for the deafblind in Italy: creating, spreading, and analysing Italian haptices” si è occupata di descrivere come questa forma comunicativa basata sul tatto sia stata sviluppata in Italia e ha delineato un primo inventario fonologico della CSA italiana.
È membro del comitato organizzativo della Conferenza internazionale Hapticconf 2023 “The integration of social-haptic communication in deafblind interpreting and educational settings” (https://www.unive.it/pag/47809).
Dal 2016 al 2018 ha collaborato al progetto Erasmus+ dal titolo “Deaf Learning” in qualità di assegnista di ricerca. Il progetto ha visto la realizzazione di materiali didattici per l’insegnamento della lingua scritta a giovani adulti sordi segnanti.
Dal 2019 al 2021 il progetto si rinnova, con il titolo di “Deaf Language Awareness”, e con l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare la popolazione sorda ai temi riguardanti le lingue ed il linguaggio attraverso lezioni interattive online.

Ha svolto varie attività di docenza e formazione tra le quali: corsi LIS/LISt finanziati dalla Regione Veneto per il personale delle scuole in provincia di Belluno, Venezia e Treviso (2022; 2024).
Docente di LISt in corsi di LIS erogati da diversi enti pubblici e privati; in corsi per docenti LIS; corsi di aggiornamento per interpreti Anios; corsi estivi intensivi dell’Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia (dal 2019 alla data attuale) .
Docente di LIS, LISt e comunicazione socio-aptica in corsi promossi dalla Fondazione Lega del Filo d’Oro E.T.S. per le persone sordocieche, il personale e i volontari.
Tra il 2015 e il 2016 ha lavorato come assistente alla comunicazione presso il Comune di Oderzo (Treviso).
Nel 2015 ha svolto attività di insegnamento della lingua inglese in scuole primarie e secondarie di primo grado nel territorio della provincia di Venezia.
