TIPS Colloquia Series | Ideology, Visions, and Worldviews in Economics

Palazzo Malcanton Marcorà, Aula Valent, 4th Floor

The fact/value entanglement in the scientific process in economics (the idea that factual judgements cannot be made independently of judgements of value) is a highly contentious
issue. This talk will show that such entanglement is much more radical than ordinarily thought.

Invited speaker: Julian Reiss, Professor of Philosophy, Johannes Kepler University, Linz

Chaired by
Matteo Giannasi, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice
