They will donate part of the income from the evening of 7 November to Emergency

We have chosen Emergency as the beneficiary of our donation, as the vision of its founder, Gino Strada, perfectly reflects our belief that no war is just. The NGO, which also has a base in Venice, finally obtained permission last August to enter Gaza to offer medical assistance to its inhabitants. Being able to give even a small contribution to support this effort seems important to us.
We invited the establishments of this area in Cannaregio, from Misericordia to San Girolamo, including Sensa and the Ghetto, to participate. The establishments that join the initiative commit to donating part of their earnings from the evening of November 7 to Emergency.
Fondamenta organised a series of activities, including performances by the Arabic Language Choir and readings of poetry and extracts from the blog “Ogni mattina a Gaza” (“Every Morning in Gaza”), in collaboration with professors, researchers, and students from the Department of Asian and North African Studies at Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
Supporting the Palestinian people by honoring their culture seems like a valid way to establish opportunities for dialogue and peaceful confrontation.
If you cannot attend the event, you can still support the project by donating directly to this link.
