During McCrae’s tenure, Graywolf Press was recognized for its ground-breaking contributions to the publishing landscape, particularly in the areas of poetry and the essay. Among other recognitions, Fiona McCrae and her colleagues have received the Editor’s Award from “Poets & Writers”, and the Medal for Editorial Excellence from the Center for Fiction in New York. She lives in Minneapolis, with her husband John Coy, who writes books for young people.
