Accommodation info

Please be advised that housing is not included in the course fees. Students are responsible for securing their own accommodation independently.
Ca’ Foscari University does not have a single centralized campus; instead, its facilities are distributed throughout the historic center of Venice. Similarly, student accommodations are located across various areas of the city. Some students may also choose to reside on the mainland (Mestre), where housing options are often more affordable.
Below, you will find a curated list of recommended accommodation options.

Some of these providers offer discounted rates for students enrolled in our summer school. We encourage you to contact them directly to inquire about summer availability and pricing. To access any applicable discounts, please refer to the instructions provided in the downloadable file below.

Credits and final certificate

At the conclusion of the summer courses students will receive a certificate of attendance with final grade (where given). The credits assigned to each programme are a calculation of ECTS in terms of workload. Most summer courses are worth 3 ECTS, while the Summer School in Contemporary Art and Curatorship is worth 6 ECTS.

Ca’ Foscari students can request credit recognition for a minimum of 6 ECTS through the Summer School office. International students can request a transcript for credit recognition at their home University.

Withdrawal policy

Following enrolment confirmation, students can withdraw from the programme with partial reimbursement up until May 31st. The School will deduct 30% from the enrolment fee for administration purposes. Following May 31st, students who withdraw are not eligible for reimbursement.
