The Call for Applications AY 2024/2025 you find here below provides all the information on how to apply. You will also find the forms to fill in and attach to the application itslef.
Applicants with a degree issued outside Italy cannot use the "Self certification" form provided below, but they will need to attach a certificate issued by the univeristy they graduated from (see below, section Application and admission)

Application and admission
To submit your application follow the steps defined by the Call for Application. Applying is easy and requires 2 basic steps:
- create an account on the University website (if you are a students at Ca' Foscari or have been one you can use the login details you already have)
- access your private area and fill in the application, attaching the documents required (CV, ID, etc.)
The English version can be accessed from esse3.unive.it, by clicking on Menù > eng > Login
To benefit from the "early bird" discount, the application must be completed by 15th October, 2024.
Note that students with a degree issued outside Italy will need to attach to the application:
- a diploma (translated into English or Italian) certifying that their qualification is equivalent to access to a 1st level Master’s Programme;
- a certificate (translated into English or Italian) released by the competent University certifying the examinations passed (transcript of records);
- a diploma supplement or, if the qualification was obtained outside the EU, a “declaration of equivalence” of the diploma, drawn up by the Italian diplomatic representative based in the country in which the qualification was obtained (This last document can be presented later but it is essential for the admission)
The admission tests:
- interview
- English language
- basic knowldege of the Travel&Tourism industry and computer use basics (it does not require studying specific texts)
- short psycho-metric test
Admission tests are online. The applicant's admission is deliberated at the sole descretion of the evaluation board.
Tuition fees and discounts
€ 9.000 – Basic attendance
for graduated professionals who are already employed in the Travel&Tourism Industry and prefer to keep their job, and to have their working time recognised as internship credits.
It includes attendance to the courses, online and onsite, and the final project work.
At the end, the successful students will receive a Master's degree - 60 ECTS
€ 12.000 – Full attendance
for newly graduted students who are looking to start their career with a boost. It inludes live projects, career service (coaching, placement, CV review, interview training, etc.)
At the end, the successful students will receive a Master's degree - 60 ECTS
€ 4.500 – "Experience" Attendance
for experienced professionals who are not graduated at university but have a long career in the industry.
It includes attendance to the courses, online and onsite. At the end, the participant will receive a certificate of attendance.
The higher fees can be paid in 3 installments:
1° installment: as a down payment on tuition fee in order to guarantee the place, it has to be paid after confirmation of admission (september, october, december): 33% of the fee+ tax stamp € 16*
2° installment: 33%
3° installment: final payment
The tuition fee includes:
- course, labs, projects, guest lectures, and internship classes (when included in the package);
- entry to exhibitions, museums, etc.
- learning materials and books;
- tutorship service during classes period and, for the Full package, for the internship organisation and during the internship ;
- access to all the libraries;
- insurance policies for students;
- transports amd accommodation durign the strudy travel (when included in the package)
The fees does not include the accommodation and transport cost during the intensive weeks, and, for non EU students, health insurance and visa costs.
Discounts
Full package:
- 30% discount for applicants who will take the admission test and will enroll by mid-September
- 20% discount for for applicants who will take the admission test and will enroll by mid-October
Basic package:
- 15% discount for for applicants who will take the admission test and will enroll by mid-October
Scholarships
Scholaship sponsored by institutions and companies can be offered during the recruitment stage or during the classes period. Elegibility criteria and conditions depend on what agreed with the institusion or company issuing the scholarship. All the applicatns will be informed about the scholarship, the elegibility criteria, and the dealines for submitting their application.
Furthermore
- Italian applicants can apply for scholaships sponsored by their Regional Governmentsi;
- International students can get mor information on scholaships from the Italian Culture Institutes, and the Italian Embassies and the Consulate General of Italy in their own country;
- INPS offers scholaschips to attend Masters' programmes as well; more information is available at the INPS website (The call is usually out in November).
Financial aid
In order to provide financial assistance to the students, Ca' Foscari University has signed agreements with Crédit Agricole FriulAdria Bank, BNL - BNP Parisbas Bank and Intesa Sanpaolo Bank to allow the students to complete their studies without worries.
