Placement and career support
Master in Tourism Innovation

The Masters programme immerses the students in the world of travel and tourism form the very beginning, allowing them to start building their professional network and engage with professionals and a wide Alumni community.

Thanks also to the international acknowledgement of the research and consultancy activity carried out by CISET, the Master's career service has contacts with the leading companies in all the most important tourist destinations in Italy and abroad.
The already active agreements with companies and institutions are more than 500, but there is a steady interest in emerging and innovative businesses that can offer exciting work opportunities.

The travel and tourism industry is expected to grow more than the majority of the other economic sectors in the next 10 years, and this will translate in an increasing need for trained figures ready to evolve.
The employment data of the historic Master in Tourism Economics and Management testify of this trend: despite the pandemic crisis, in 2021 and in the following years, the employment rate reached 90% within 6 months of graduation.

Why is our internship service different?

Because the customisation level is very high. The individual journey towards the internship choice is based on classroom contacts with company managers, solid and cutting-edge preparation, career guidance interviews, review and support in filling in the CV, simulations of job interviews and monitoring of internship activities and results.

Our partners: Hilton, Marriott Hotels, Booking.com, B&B Hotels, The Barcelona EDITION, Expedia, Italian Exhibition Group, Associazione delle vie Francigene, Rocco Forte Hotels, Belmond, AIGO, Gruppo Gattinoni, The Begin Hotels, Turismo FVG, Bologna Welcome, Flixbus, NEBE Events e moltissimi altri.

Careers

The Masters’ career service provides a continuous link with the industry and the job opportunities offered by the tourism companies, during the programme and after graduation.

The tutors and the faculty are experts with business insights and act as advisors, helping the students to plan their future career. They are also resources when it comes to making connections in the industry, exploring different job functions, identifying companies looking for qualified professionals, gathering and disseminating opportunities.

To get a glimpse of how many career paths  - much more than one might think - can open up to the students who graduates from the Master's programme, have a look at the attached document, which can give you an idea of the world of possibilites offered by the travel industry, albeit not exhaustive.
