Intenational workshops and fieldwork

The Master's students will have many opportunities to participate in exchanges and activities with other international universities and companies, creating important connections for their professional future.

Professional Master classess and Special guest's lectures led by international industry professionals
In addition to an international class, students have the chance to meet managers from all over the world (USA, France, Australia, Japan, UK, Greece, etc.), who will discuss with them ideas and strategies for future development and what challenges await them.

The faculty also includes international experts who can identify and design the trends that will shape tourism in the future.

Field activities, shared lectures and team work with students from other universities around the world
The Master also offers the participants the opportunity to exchange and share experiences with students and experts from other classes around the world. Here are some examples:

  • Australian colleagues from Monash University, who come to Venice to discuss the state of the art and the evolution of destination management and the case of Venice. The study programme, called “Venice does not exist”, allows them to analyse the impacts of tourism in the city and the relationship between mobility and the surrounding environment. The programme is organised by CISET and includes workshops with the city's most important stakeholders and itineraries designed and guided by the students, as well as by CISET experts
  •  Japanese students from Toyo University in Tokyo, for a cross lecture and discussion ideas on the impact of creative content (books, mangas, tv series and cinema productions, etc.) on tourist destinations
  •  the Master in Culture, Politique, Patrimoine of the Sorbonne University (Paris IV) with whom CISET collaborated on a fieldwork dedicated to the storytelling of Venice from different points of view
