A CFZ an exhibition of pictures taken by American photographer Susannah Wilshire-Torem,  between 1960 and the beginning of 2000. The exhibition is curated by Italo Zannier.

A new name resurfaces in the History of Photography, in the fields of fashion and landscape. An exhibition dedicated to American photographer Susannah Wilshire-Totem in "Tesa 1" at the Ca’ Foscari University Library, Zattere. A collection of images taken by the photographer between 1960 and the early 2000s.

After a dazzling debut as an international model for the world of fashion and appearing in the most prestigious magazines, Susannah chooses the role of photographer, standing on the other side of the lens. At first as a student of Arik Nepo in New York, after which she moved to Paris to work with the Rapho agency, joining important characters such as Robert Doisneau.

From Susannah’s photographic archives, Italo Zannier, curator of the exhibition, has chosen a core set of images documenting the visual energy of this extraordinary artist, both in fashion photography comparable to the most famous in the sector, and in landscape photography, especially Venetian, with "obsolete techniques" often appearing, like the mythical Papier Fresson. During the exhibition an elegant monographic selection will be presented, enriched with original imprint photographs.
Presented by curator Italo Zannier, Contemporary Art Historian Nico Stringa and the researcher Francesca Dolzani.
