New CartaConto for students and staff

STUDENTS

CartaConto is the card that gives you access to all the University’s services and also functions as a prepaid card with an Iban code, allowing you to make and receive payments to and from all over the world. With the new CartaConto you can:

•Access libraries and borrow books

•Make photocopies

•Make and receive payments, using your Cartaconto as a prepaid card that you can easily top up.

Your new cards will soon be delivered to you at the address you have indicated in your personal area or at Ca’ Foscari palace if you indicated an address outside of Italy.

CartaConto will give you access to university services (libraries, books and fotocopiers) from the first week of August onwards, substituting the old Carta Multiservizi which will no longer be usable in this way.

Academic and PTA Staff

CartaConto will be active starting the first week of August and will substitute the Carta Multiservizi. You can use it to signal your presence at work, to access libraries, borrow books and make photocopies.

We will be communicating details regarding the distribution of the new cards soon and can anticipate that they will be distributed directly to Ca’ Foscari’s headquarters, facilities and departments.

If you activate your CartaConto as a prepaid card by 31 July you will automatically be entered in a lottery draw sponsored by Gruppo Crédit Agricole! You could win one of 40 flights for two people to a European destination of your choice out of a large selection.
