This year, Ca' Foscari University of Venice has once again confirmed its position as one of the top universities in Europe for number of outbound exchange students, and ranked sixth among the institutions assessed in the new edition of the QS Europe University Rankings.

The second edition of the ranking, which has slightly different parameters from the prestigious QS World University Rankings, evaluated 685 institutions from countries belonging to the Council of Europe, including 51 Italian institutions.

Ca' Foscari has made significant progress in the overall ranking, climbing more than 20 positions to 205th place, surpassing 70.1% of the institutions considered. The University has achieved excellent results in outbound mobility and has also been ranked 61st in Europe for inbound student mobility and 91st for its environmental and social sustainability efforts. Moreover, Ca’ Foscari has been placed in the top 200 for indicators assessing its academic and professional reputation.

Our university is ranked second in Italy for outbound student mobility. This achievement confirms the latest AlmaLaurea report, which highlighted the large number of Ca' Foscari students who were able to participate in study abroad programmes during their studies due to the numerous agreements and programmes available to them.

Speaking again of internationality, Ca' Foscari ranked fourth among Italian universities for International Students Diversity and International Faculty Ratio, an index of good reputation and quality that makes the University attractive to academic staff from abroad. Our university is also an attractive destination for student mobility, and ranks 5th in Italy for 'inbound exchange students'.

Fifth place for Ca' Foscari's 'faculty-student ratio', highlights a positive situation. A higher number of faculty per student reflects the institution's commitment of resources to improving its teaching and the overall university experience.

Furthermore, Ca' Foscari ranks in the Italian top 10 for sustainability (6th) and Employer reputation (9th), thus demonstrating its graduates’ preparation.
