Pop Up @ Port Days: play your music with Ca’ Foscari

Following a successful first edition in 2021, this event is being held again this year, with a slightly different vibe, a new partner and location. 

Pop Up @Port Days is happening thanks to the collaboration between Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and North Adriatic Sea Port Authority (ports of Venice and Chioggia). On 7 October 2022, 3 artists or student bands will have the chance to perform on a stage set up in San Basilio, on the Venetian waterfront.

So who will be performing? We don’t know yet — this is why we need you!

Participate in Pop Up 

The Venetian student community is at the heart of our universities, so we want Pop Up @ Port Days to be an opportunity for the community to showcase its musical talent. Considering the fact that live music performances can be hard to come by in Venice due to the geography of this special city, a concert like this one can bring the Venetian public together to discover something new.

Are you thinking of participating? We’re looking for someone who makes music and is currently enrolled in a Venetian university: if that sounds like you, have a look at the call below. The call is open to solo artists and bands that play any music genre. A team from Radio Ca’ Foscari will select the proposals that seem to best suit the event. Radio Ca’ Foscari will also stream the three performances for anyone who cannot be there in person.
