In February 2018 the 150th Academic Year will be inaugurated with a celebration held at the Teatro La Fenice in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic, the exhibition dedicated to the Dunhuang buddhist grottos will be open and international meetings, conferences and events as well as initiatives celebrating the 150th anniversary of our university will take place.

Conference, Presentation of the IMF report "Inequality and Poverty Across Generations in the European Union"

The three authors of the report, Jean-Jacques Hallaert, Haonan Qu and Maximilien Queyranne, will present it and discuss possible policy solutions that could foster integration of the young into the labor market and provide better protection through re-design of social protection and taxation systems coordinated by Enrica Croda.

Celebration, Inauguration of the Academic Year 2017/2018

The Academic Year will be officially launched at the Teatro La Fenice in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella. During the ceremony an Honorary Doctorate will be awarded to Professor Sir Richard Blundell, Ricardo Professor of Political Economy at University College London (UCL), who will hold a lecture on Economic Policy Reform and the Challenge of Inequality.
