QS World University Rankings: best result ever for Ca' Foscari

In the QS World University Rankings 2025, Ca' Foscari achieved its best result ever, moving up 50 positions from the previous year's ranking. The university now ranks in the 601-610 bracket out of over 1500 institutions evaluated. This progress can be attributed to top performance in sustainability and a high number of international faculty members.

In this year's 21st edition, the number of surveyed institutions increased from 2963 to 5663 (+2700). As a result, Ca' Foscari has advanced in the rankings amidst growing international competition.

In the category of 'Sustainability', Ca' Foscari has risen to the 193rd place in the world rankings, marking an improvement of 42 positions since the previous edition. In terms of 'International Faculty', the university is now ranked 408th, which represents a jump of 46 places compared to last year. Additionally, for 'Academic Reputation',which evaluates academic perception, it currently holds the 456th position.

Ca’ Foscari is ranked in the top 600 globally in the categories of 'Employer Reputation', which reflects the reputation of Ca' Foscari graduates in the workplace, and 'International Research Network', which evaluates an institution's international research partnerships in terms of quantity and diversity.

Our university also achieved excellent results on the national level, being rated as the third-best university in Italy for the internationality of its faculty and the sixth for its focus on sustainability. Additionally, it has a good reputation in the labour market, ranking ninth for the preparation shown by its graduates.

Over the past decade, Ca' Foscari has progressed from being ranked in the 601+ bracket out of 700 universities considered, to the 601-610 bracket out of over 5600 institutions considered (and over 1500 published). This places the university in the top 10% of universities surveyed by the prestigious QS Ranking.
