It will be an original performance, prepared for the occasion in the Aula Magna Silvio Trentin of Ca’ Dolfin, to illustrate the highly topical notions of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

The event, named “Active art against sex trafficking” was created by Sara De Vido and Claudia Irti from the Department of Economics, and organized in collaboration with Sustainable Ca’ Foscari and the Beawarenow association. It gives both male and female University students the opportunity to actively participate in the performance – to be held on the 16th May – that will use the styles and techniques of a theatre spectacle to engage the actors, speakers and audience with this theme.

The project is one of the initiatives promoted by the University to support the 17 objectives of Agenda 2030 for sustainable development: gender equality, reduction of inequality, peace and justice.

Anyone interested must sign up by 21st February 2017 by filling out the online form on the Sustainable Ca’ Foscari site.
