Summer@SIE, discover the three Summer Schools and apply by April 29th!

Applications are now open for Summer@SIE, the programme by Ca Foscari’s School for International Education with courses on different engaging topics for everyone. Throughout the month of July, the SIE will offer summer schools in three different subject areas: Global Studies, Contemporary Art & Curatorship, and Classical Chinese and Japanese. 

QS 2023: Ca' Foscari ranked in 16 subjects

The leading subjects are "Modern Languages" (66th place in the world and 3rd in Italy) and "Classical Studies and Ancient History" (Top 90 in the world and 9th in Italy), which reached top positions thanks to  their excellent international reputation. The university has also maintained first place in Italy for the "Hospitality and Leisure Management" subject (Top 100 in the world).

Ca’ Foscari’s study offer for the 2023/2024 academic year is now online! Discover our 60 Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees, in seven different study areas. We have ntroduced four new degree programmes - three of which are entirely in English - as well as new partnerships with international universities.

Earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the message of the Rector

"The Shape of Water", apply now for the new Study in Venice summer school

Study in Venice, the network that unites higher education institutions in Venice, has launched its first joint summer school. "The Shape of Water" will take place from 3 to 14 July 2023, two weeks during which students from all over the world will have the opportunity to observe Venice and learn about its link with water. Send in your application by 20 March 2023.

4 Ca' Foscari Departments selected as 'Departments of Excellence'

The Department of Economics, the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics, the Department of Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies and the Department of Asian and North African Studies have been selected as 'Departments of Excellence' by the Italian Ministry of University and Research, which awards the best university Departments in Italy with research funds for a total of 271 million euros each year.

UNI-QUEST, a new service to help with residence permit applications

UNI-QUEST is the new help desk managed by Ca’ Foscari and the Questura di Venezia (i.e. the Central Police Station of Venice) to assist members of the University’s international community in the application for residence permits.
The help desk - located on the ground floor of Ca' Foscari's main building - will be open every Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m.

Holiday closure 24/12 - 8/1. From 3/1 CFZ and BEC open, offices open online

Ca’ Foscari University of Venice will be closed from 24 December 2022 through 8 January 2023. CFZ and BEC will reopen on 3 January. Administration offices will reopen on 3 January only online.
