She was born in Pordenone, Italy, 1966; She is married with Andrea and has 1 child.
2001 she took the position as assistant professor(ricercatore) in Physical Chemistry at the Department of PhysicalChemistry at the University "Ca' Foscari" of Venice.

Scientific Activities
The scientific activity concerns both methodological and applicative studies in Materials Science (Nanostructured Materials) by means of Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), X-Ray, Neutron ans Electron Diffraction. During her stay at the Forchungszentrum in Karlsruhe she was involved in an European Project on Hydrogen Storage Materials.
She is co-author of more than 70 international peer-reviewed papers and some Chapters in different books (English language).
She is referee for different international journals in the field of Physical Chemistry and Materials Science, mainly the Journal of Physical Chemistry C and the Journal of Physical Chemistry B both published by the American Chemical Society ACS, and Nanotechnology published by the Institute of Physics IOP. She also refereed some papers for Scripta Materialia (Elsevier), MRS Bulletin (Materials Research Society), Powder Diffraction (ICCD), J. of Applied Crystallography (IUCR)...
