Prof. Andrea Critto. Ph.D. in Environmental Science. The research activities focus on Environmental Risk Assessment associated with: climate change environmental impacts; formulation of Environmental Quality Standards and planning of environmental monitoring; development of Decision Support Systems for the integration of environmental, technological, economical and societal issues; selection/comparison of remedial technologies for contaminated sites. Actively involved in international/national project proposals and development. He is member of SETAC Europe, EGU and MEDCOAST Foundation. He was awarded with a scholarship from the Science & Technology Fellowship Programme in China (STF CHINA), supported by the European Parliament to build bridges between the EU and China in the Science & Technology domain, hosted by Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES, Beijing). He has been a foreign expert confirmed by the State Administration of Foreign Expert Affair of the People’s Republic of China. Since 2013 he is member of Teaching Board of the  Ph.D School in Science and Management of Climate Change, University Ca’ Foscari Venice. He has been participating (since 2005) in the organization and coordination of the Euro-Mediterranean Center for Climate Change (CMCC) research groups, within the Divisions “Impact on soil and coast” and “Risk Assessment and Adaptation Strategies”, and from 2018 within the research Center CMCC@Ca’Foscari. Founder and Partner of the University Spin off "GreenDecision s.r.l." approved by the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He has more than 120 scientific publications in international refereed journals.
