To enable students to:
Explain how economic theory predicts the supply, demand and consumption of health care
Think critically about health care policy
Analyze problems and current issues related to health and health care in Veneto, Italy, the United States, and other countries, and derive potential
solutions
Students are expected to be comfortable with the material covered in introductory and intermediate microeconomics courses. Some familiarity with statistics and exposure to regression analysis are helpful.
