Words matter: Communication techniques workshop for reading aloud and podcasts

Campus Treviso - Laboratorio Informatico

Podcasts constitute digital texts in vogue with a popular purpose; scientific content is recontextualized and presented in an appropriate way to a wide audience. The translator and language and cultural mediator must also deal in the audiovisual field with the possibility of handling assignments related to the translation and production of podcasts. In this sense, the translator must acquire new skills, such as acting, and know techniques for the proper use of voice.
