Information
Enrolments for courses and modules from the period November 2024 will take place online from 18/10/24 to 23/10/24.
Payment
The day after enrolling you will receive an email with instructions for payment, which must be made by the deadline given (48 hours).
Failure to complete with payment will result in automatic cancellation of the enrolment.
Places on courses will be allocated in order of payment received.
Courses and modules will be activated only if the minimum number of enrolments required is reached.
The A1 Italian Sign Language Open Badge will be awarded to learners who attend (in different teaching periods) two 50 hour modules (Mod. 1 + Mod. 2), a total of 100 hours, and pass the final test of the second module.
The A2 Italian Sign Language Open Badge will be awarded to learners who attend (in different teaching periods) two 50 hour modules (Mod. 1 + Mod. 2), a total of 100 hours, and pass the final test of the second module.
Modules
Mod. 1 - Italian Sign Language - Level A1
Duration: 50hrs
Period: 01/10/2024 - 09/01/2025 (lessons will not be held on: 21/11/2024, from 24/12/24 to 06/01/25)
Days and times: Tuesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Requirements: Connection, webcam, speakers and/or audio headphones, microphone. The system works with PC (Windows or Apple), Tablet and Smartphone
This course aims to introduce basic grammatical structures and develop language skills in the context of simple everyday communicative situations.
Learners attain a basic knowledge of Italian Sign Language during Mod.1, the first of two modules.
Registration
- Registration on ClaOnline to receive registration number and password.
- In order to enrol in Mod. 1 of Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Mongolian, Japanese and Italian Sign Language at the University Language Centre no previous knowledge is necessary and therefore you can access the enrolment phase (point 3) directly.
- Registration takes place on the ClaOnline platform, in the course registration section, on the scheduled dates. Places are allocated according to pre-registration order. Courses available at the self-certified level are automatically listed. Those who have attended at least 80% of the hours of the previous module at the University Language Centre, within a maximum of 1 year from the end of the module, may enrol directly in Mod. 2.
Alternatively, if you want to enrol in a module higher than Mod. 1 and you have not previously attended a course at the University Language Centre, write to cla@unive.it to arrange an interview to confirm your level. - Once registration has been closed, if the minimum number of enrolments required to activate the class has been reached, an email will be sent with details of payment, which must be made via PagoPA by the deadline indicated in the email. With the "Payment notification" option, a document will be generated that allows payment in every place that accepts PagoPA, while "Immediate payment" allows instant payment online.

The fee is also communicated by e-mail following pre-registration.
Registrations and payments made after the deadline will be subject to an increase of € 30.00 (CLA Board resolution 02/12/2013).
It is possible to use the Teacher’s Card (‘Carta del docente’) bonus to pay for a course.
