Chemical technician

What do you do in your job at the department?
I organise and support research activities in the laboratory, both in terms of specific research projects and student internship.

What is one aspect of your job that gives you great satisfaction?
Interacting with research teams and students, because it lets me pass on my knowledge but at the same time enhances it, giving me professional and human satisfaction.

Tell us something about your job that you feel has brought some benefit, even the smallest, to the community.
I believe that all research and educational activities are fundamental for the community. In my own small way, I have contributed to students' training and growth by supporting them in their education, workshops and internships. Some of them, with whom I am still in touch, hold executive positions in industrial or academic circles that are prominent in the Italian and international socio-economic landscape.

What is your favourite motto (saying, quote) that you apply in your job?
“Loving your work (unfortunately, the privilege of a few) represents the best, most concrete approximation of happiness on earth. But this is a truth not many know.” (Primo Levi)
