The Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival, in collaboration with the Venice Foundation, the Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation and the Hotel NH Venezia Rio Novo, is ready to celebrate its tenth edition and is the first major Ca’ Foscari event whose restart has been rescheduled.

The Short Film Festival is therefore back, entirely conceived, organized and managed by a university, which after the forced stop due to lockdown reschedules an entirely new version from October 7 to 10, online and in person, becoming a widespread event in the city thanks to the participation of the most famous Venetian institutions and in compliance with anti-Covid regulations.

In all venues participating in the initiative, the films will be screened simultaneously at the S. Margherita Auditorium, where there will also be guests present and a limited number of participants. At the same time, it will also be broadcast online.

All the anti-Covid measures required by current regulations will obviously be adopted to safeguard the participants of the Festival and the spectators.

The institutions that will host the "widespread" screenings are:

M9 - Museum of the 1900s, Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation, The Casa del Cinema and the Candiani Centre of the Municipality of Venice, Querini Stampalia Foundation, Giorgio Franchetti Gallery at Ca’ D'Oro, Palazzo Grimani Museum, National Archaeological Museum, Foundation Bevilacqua La Masa, Veneto Institute, European Council of Art In Paradiso Art Gallery, Hotel NH Venezia Rio Novo.
